Organic Mandarins Ciaculli variety
Organic Ciaculli mandarins are a variety that takes its name from an area of Palermo where it is grown. It is also called late mandarin because, compared to other citrus fruits, it is produced between February and April.
The color of the late mandarin Ciaculli is pale and the shape is flattened. It has a very juicy, citrusy but sugary pulp and also, compared to other tangerine varieties, the presence of seeds is reduced. This is a highly prized variety of mandarin known both for its taste and for the nutritional properties it contains, such as its high vitamin C and B content.
Mandarin Ciaculli is a mandarin whose use in cooking is varied. Delicious jams can be made, and the peel is used on a large scale to make candied fruit, cakes, liqueurs, as well as to enrich dishes of all kinds.
The production batch will be indicated at the time of shipment.
